The lehenga came in a deep baingani (aubergine) shade -- a colour that exuded royal energy -- and was adorned with metallic silver floral threadwork that glistened beautifully under the light. The full-flared skirt was paired with a plunging neckline blouse with elbow-length sleeves and a matching embroidered dupatta featuring tasselled edges and a hot pink lining for a playful pop. The set balanced opulence with wearability, thanks to its lightweight fabric and flowing construction, making it ideal for summer weddings or festive celebrations.
Sara Ali Khan accessorised the look with statement silver jhumkas and stacks of purple glass bangles, keeping the colour story cohesive and traditional.
Her makeup was soft yet defined -- featuring a flawless base, flushed cheeks, nude-pink lips, and kohl-rimmed eyes that added depth without overpowering the ensemble. Her voluminous hair was styled in soft, natural waves with a center part.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sara Ali Khan recently featured in Anurag Basu's ‘Metro In Dino’, co-starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and more.
Sara Ali Khan will next share screen space with Ayushmann Khurrana for the first time in an upcoming action comedy film.
The film will be produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment. The film, yet to be titled, will be directed by Aakash Kaushik and is expected to be a unique spy comedy.
