Deepika Padukone’s elegant and regal anarkali suit set was custom-designed by Torani. It featured an embroidered long full-sleeved kurta with golden-hued embroidery all over it.
She wore it with a matching salwar and a heavily embroidered dupatta. The Bollywood actress styled the traditional ensemble with an exquisite choker from Chand Begum Jewels.
For the unversed, the necklace is a witness to Sikh artistry and has a history tied to the family of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the emperor of the Sikh Empire, according to the label. It features a 150-carat ruby in the centre, surrounded by white sapphires.
For her makeup, Deepika Padukone went with well-shaped eyebrows, winged eyeliner, shimmery eyeshadow, kohl-rimmed eyes, blushed cheekbones, glowing highlighter, contouring, a nude brown lip shade and a tiny bindi.
