Did you know that Aasif Khan once worked in the same hotel where Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor got married? Yes, you read that right.

Aasif Khan worked at the Taj Hotel and washed dishes at the time of the big wedding. In a recent interview, Aasif Khan shared that he was denied a picture with the stars at that time, and he ended up crying because of that.

During his appearance on a podcast with ABP Uncut, Aasif Khan revealed that he was washing the dishes at Taj Hotel where Kareena and Saif tied the knot.

He then said that when he asked for a picture with the actors, he was denied permission. "I cried that day as I could not meet the actors despite being so close to them," he said.

However, this pushed him to work harder for his goal. He also talked about a time when he was humiliated by a casting agent with whom he had fixed a meeting shortly after the incident.

"The manager of the firm told me, ‘Don’t take my feedback personally', I am giving you honest feedback. Neither your looks are attractive, nor your body is very good, why would anyone cast you," the actor said.

For the unversed, Aasif Khan began his journey in showbiz as a casting director. He then worked as a junior artist in Salman Khan's 'Ready', Hrithik Roshan's 'Agneepath', and Akshay Kumar's 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha'.

Coming back to 'Panchayat', the series stars Neena Gupta, Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Chandan Roy, and Faisal Malik.
