Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon's 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' Mints Rs 7.02 Crore On Day 1

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's latest Valentine's Day offering 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' has finally been released in theatres. The new Hindi film has opened to a mixed response, and this is reflected in the opening day box office collection. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' earned Rs 7.02 crore on the first day of its release.
Taran Adarsh also said that the urban centres are performing for the newly-released Hindi film, and he also stated that the business is expected to grow over the weekend.

As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the new Hindi film had an overall 14.92 per cent Hindi occupancy on Friday. For the unversed, the film is the debut directorial of Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah.
Producers Maddock Films also said that 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' earned Rs 14 crore at the global box office on Day 1.

'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' also stars Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia in lead roles. In the film, Shahid is playing the role of a scientist, who ends up falling in love with Kriti's robot character, SIFRA, whose name stands for “Super Intelligent Female Robot Automation.”
For the unversed, a special screening of the film was held on Thursday and it was attended by Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Nupur Sanon, Mira Rajput, Ishaan Khatter, and Shahid's mother Neelima Azeem.
Janhvi Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, and Jackky Bhagnani also attended the special screening. The new Hindi movie has been produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar.
Speaking of Siddharth Anand's 'Fighter', starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor, which released in cinemas on January 25, made Rs 1.75 crore on Friday (February 9), which was the 16th day of its release.
As per Sacnilk, the total nett domestic collection of 'Fighter' now stands at Rs 189.25 crore, and it needs to be seen whether the film manages to enter the Rs 200 crore club by the end of this weekend.
Shahid Kapoor's last theatrical release was 'Jersey', and the film which was released in 2022, earned Rs 19.68 crore in India.
For the unversed, 'Jersey' was a remake of the 2019 National Award-winning Telugu film of the same name, starring Nani.
Shahid Kapoor's biggest hit remains 2019's 'Kabir Singh', after it made more than Rs 280 crore in India.
Talking about Kriti Sanon, the actress is coming off two box office duds in the form of 'Adipurush' and 'Ganapath'.
'Ganapath', which also stars Tiger Shroff and Amitabh Bachchan, earned around Rs 13 crore in India while 'Adipurush' earned around Rs 200 crore, but it was made on a reported budget of more than Rs 600 crore.
