Here’s a list of new movies set to hit theatres in March and April 2023.

For the Hindi film industry, 2022 was a rough year, with big-budget Bollywood movies starring A-listers tanking at the box office. While Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Raksha Bandhan’ and Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Shamshera’ performed unexpectedly poorly at the box office, some Hindi movies like the event film ‘Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva’, horror comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and ‘The Kashmir Files’ enjoyed successful run in cinemas, shattering many box office records.

The good thing is 2023 has already provided respite to the Hindi film industry as Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback film, ‘Pathaan’, co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, was a massive hit at the box office. The film, which released on January 25, went on to collect more than Rs 500 crore and shattered several box office records.

While Akshay Kumar’s ‘Selfiee’ and Kartik Aaryan-starrer ‘Shehzada’ did not perform well, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s Holi release ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ is on its way to collect more than Rs 100 crore at the box office, giving the industry its second hit this year.
