IIFA Awards is one of the most watched shows when it comes to recognising talent in the Indian film industry and everyone is waiting for this year's event. The organisers have now confirmed that the IIFA 2023 has been pushed back, and the new dates are out! However, the reason has not been given on why the awards show has been delayed this year. "The prominent celebration of Indian Cinema with #IIFA has been rescheduled to May 26th & 27th 2023. Be a part of it to experience this cinematic magnificence with us at the magical land of Yas Island, Abu Dhabi and get ready to make your summer of 2023 grander," a tweet read from the official handle of IIFA.

IIFA 2023 is slated to be held at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
Alia Bhatt's 'Gangubai Kathiawadi’ dominates the nomination list while movies like 'Brahmastra: Part One Shiva' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' have also landed nominations in several categories.
When it comes to the best performance for a leading role (male), the nominations are -- Kartik Aaryan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Rajkumar Rao, Anupam Kher and Hrithik Roshan.
Talking about best performance for a leading role (female), the nominations are -- Alia Bhatt (Darlings and Gangubai Kathiawadi), Yami Gautam Dhar, Tabu, and Shefali Shah.
IIFA Awards were presented for the first time in 2000 at The Millennium Dome in London. From then onwards, the ceremony has been held at locations around the world, signifying the international success of Bollywood.
The event has now expanded from a one-night event to a three-day celebration, hosting various events and activities.
