The sequel to 'Animal' has already been announced, however, no release date has been confirmed as yet.

"It’s a partnership built on trust, fueled by creative freedom, and fortified by an unbreakable bond. Producer Bhushan Kumar and Director #SandeepReddyVanga unveil the next cinematic wonders—Prabhas’ Spirit, Animal Park, and an Allu Arjun saga—the chapters that follow the monumental success of Kabir Singh and #Animal," an official statement from T-Series stated.

For the unversed, 'Animal' faced severe backlash for glorifying toxic masculinity and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga faced further scrutiny after he criticised film critics and artists who had publicly voiced their dissent against the film.

'Animal' revolves around a man and his toxic relationship with his father. The film showed the character of Ranbir Kapoor and how he goes to any length to protect his father.

The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, and Shakti Kapoor.
