Tamannaah Bhatia Blames Insta Algorithm For Liking Deepika Padukone Video Amid Latter's Row With Sandeep Reddy Vanga
Tamannaah Bhatia recently appeared to like a reel featuring Deepika Padukone on Instagram, but she later clarified that the platform had liked the post on its own.

The internet is praising Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia for what many see as a subtle yet powerful show of support for fellow actress Deepika Padukone amid the ongoing backlash surrounding ‘Spirit’, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Prabhas. The buzz began when Tamannaah liked a thought-provoking Instagram reel spotlighting issues women face – such as pay disparity and being overworked. Interestingly, the clip featured Deepika firmly shutting down a reporter who asked if Ranveer Singh funded her film ‘Chhapaak’. While not a direct statement, Tamannaah’s gesture didn’t go unnoticed by fans and followers.
“Propaganda she is not falling for: Disrespect, men, sexism, gender pay gap, working overtime, unprofessionalism, misogyny, and double standards,” the text read on the reel.
The video is from a press conference in 2020 when a reporter quizzed Deepika about her husband Ranveer Singh's investment in the Meghna Gulzar directorial. Deepika then dismissed the question, saying, “Excuse me, yeh mere khud ke paise hain. Kisne bola yeh?”

However, to the disappointment of Deepika Padukone fans, Tamannaah Bhatia has now clarified that she not did not like any reel on Instagram. She shared an Instagram Story with a video selfie of herself rolling her eyes.
“Can Instagram pls figure out how it likes pages on its own, cause random people are making this news and I really have work to do,” she wrote.

Talking about the row involving Deepika Padukone and Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the controversy took an ugly turn earlier this week after the 'Animal' director took to X (formerly Twitter) to address the rumours surrounding the upcoming Prabhas-starrer ‘Spirit’.
After Pinkvilla carried a report detailing the plot of the film, Vanga implied that the leak had come from Deepika Padukone after walking out of the film. He also accused Deepika of putting down a younger actress Triptii Dimri, who is now the lead actress of 'Spirit'.
Earlier, several reports stated that Sandeep Reddy Vanga showed Deepika the door due to her "unprofessional demands."
"Sandeep Reddy Vanga got the shock of his life when Deepika Padukone refused to shoot for more than six hours a day for Spirit. That’s not all—the actress, via her agency, also began to demand amendments to the contract. Their main contention was simple: if the shoot extended beyond 100 days, Deepika would need to be paid extra for every single day beyond the agreed schedule," Bollywood Hungama quoted a source as saying.
