Taapsee Pannu Confirms Getting Married To Mathias Boe, Shares Reason Behind Secret Ceremony
Taapsee Pannu has now confirmed that she indeed got married to Mathias Boe, but she does not want to share the wedding pictures with her fans.

Bollywood actress Taapee Pannu, who was last seen alongside Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Dunki’, made headlines recently after several reports suggested that she tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend and former badminton player Mathias Boe. A few days later, some videos from their secret wedding ceremony also made their way online. However, Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe didn’t post any pictures or videos from their wedding online. The celebrity couple, who dated for many years, also didn’t speak publically about their marriage.
Taapsee Pannu has now confirmed that she indeed got married, but she does not want to share the wedding pictures with her fans.
“I’m not sure if I want to open my personal life to the kind of scrutiny that happens. I’ve signed up for this, not my partner or the people who were at the wedding. That’s why I’ve kept it to myself. Intention was never to keep it a secret; I just didn’t want to make it a public affair, because then I’ll start getting worried about how it is perceived,” Taapsee Pannu told Hindustan Times.
“That’s why I have no plans for a release of any kind, and don’t think I’m mentally prepared for that right now. I knew people who were there, they wanted to be there for me and were not present to judge, that’s why I was pretty relaxed,” she added.
Taapsee Pannu's sister Shagun Pannu revealed that she planned the wedding ceremony. For the unversed, Shagun is a wedding designer and she only took care of the whole ceremony so that her sister could enjoy her wedding.
“Taapsee wasn’t a bridezilla at all. She left everything to me in terms of the wedding planning. She just wanted to have a good time. The gathering was also limited, so Taapsee didn’t have to worry about anything,” Shagun told Hindustan Times.
Recently, a video from Taapsee Pannu’s wedding went viral which showed the actress dancing during her bridal entry, while Mathias Boe made an appearance on a cycle towards the end.
Coming back to Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe, they reportedly tied the knot in Udaipur on March 23. Taapsee Pannu’s ‘Thappad’ co-star Pavail Gulati was reportedly in attendance. He also shared a photo from the festivities on his social media.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Taapsee Pannu will be next seen in the comedy-drama film ‘Woh Ladki Hai Kahan’, written and directed by Arshad Syed.
Apart from Taapsee Pannu, the movie also stars Prateik Babbar and Pratik Gandhi in the lead roles.
Taapsee Pannu will also be seen in the highly anticipated sequel to ‘Haseen Dillruba’. ‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba’ will see Taapsee sharing the screen with Vikrant Massey, Sunny Kaushal, and Jimmy Shergill.
