The ‘Dhurandhar’ phenomenon shows no signs of slowing down, with the film transitioning from a box office titan to a full-blown cultural movement. The latest star to succumb to the ‘Dhurandhar’ mania is none other than Shilpa Shetty, who took to Instagram to join the viral ‘FA9LA’ trend that has taken social media by storm. Shilpa Shetty delighted fans by recreating the iconic dance move performed by Akshaye Khanna to the track ‘FA9LA’ by Bahraini rapper Flipperachi.
In a humorous clip, the actress gave it her all, only for the video to end with a playful realisation that her team forgot to turn on the fan for that dramatic wind-swept effect.

Captioning her post with a witty pun, she wrote: “Fan toh mila nahi lekin mai fan ho gayi hu, toh yeh trend karna banta tha.”
Beyond the video, Shilpa Shetty shared a comprehensive review of the film, showering the cast and crew with accolades. She noted that Ranveer Singh fit his character “to the T,” delivering a perfectly underplayed performance.
She also highlighted Akshaye Khanna, describing his screen presence as “OMG… aura maxxx”. For R. Madhavan, she stated, “no one could have played it better.”
Shilpa Shetty then spoke about Arjun Rampal, calling his performance a “revelation”. The eternal Bollywood diva dubbed Sanjay Dutt a “rockstar as always”.
The actress further extended her appreciation to the supporting cast, including Gaurav Gera, Manav Gohil, and Rakesh Bedi, while thanking casting director Mukesh Chhabra for assembling such a powerhouse ensemble. She also revealed that the background score by Shashwatology has become her “favourite playlist right now”. The film’s music continues to dominate outside of cinema halls. Arjun Rampal recently sent the internet into a frenzy when a video emerged of him playing a remix of ‘FA9LA’ during a DJ set at a Gurugram nightclub. The viral moment, which saw the crowd erupting in cheers, drew nostalgic comparisons to Bobby Deol’s famous DJ phase.
Commercially, ‘Dhurandhar’ is rewriting history. On its 17th day, the film officially became the biggest Hindi film of 2025, dethroning Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava. The domestic total currently stands at Rs 571 crore after a Rs 16 crore third Monday. The worldwide collection currently stands at Rs 845 crore.
It has officially surpassed Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ (Rs 553.87 crore) to become the 10th highest-grossing film in Indian history.
The film now sits in the elite Top 10 list alongside giants like ‘Pushpa 2’, ‘Baahubali 2’, and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. Its sequel ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.
