SRK Fans Upset Over 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' Producer's "Bechare Ki 5-7 Saalon Se..." Comment
Shah Rukh Khan fans are upset with 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' producer. Here's why.

Shah Rukh Khan made a comeback one for the ages. After delivering back-to-back flops at the box office, SRK took a sabbatical, and he finally returned to the big screen in 2023. Last year, King Khan starred in three movies -- 'Pathaan', 'Jawan', and 'Dunki', and all three turned out to be massive box office hits. It is fair to say that Akshay Kumar is also going through an underwhelming phase in his professional career, and the actor desperately needs a box office hit.
Akshay Kumar will next be seen in 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', alongside Tiger Shroff. The Ali Abbas Zafar-directorial will be releasing in cinemas on Eid 2024. Ahead of the film's release, 'BMCM' producer Vashu Bhagnani has compared Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's box office struggles with Shah Rukh Khan.
"It all depends from film to film. And they are both brilliant actors. Koi fark hi nahin padta. And Shah Rukh Khan se bada koi example nahin hai. Bechare ki 5-7 saalon se ek bhi picture nahin chali thi. And look how he bounced back in 2023. All his three films – Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki – were super-duper hits," Vashu Bhagnani told Bollywood Hungama.
"It’s not the fault of the actors. It’s the timing, how the film has shaped up and whether the film has acceptance – these factors matter more. In the case of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, the title itself is so big. Then, even the actors are big and the same applies to the director. The action is grand and the music is also in sync," he added.
However, Shah Rukh Khan fans have not taken kindly to this comment, and they are lashing out at the producer's comment.
Here are some of the reactions:
Leave Tiger and Akki, the real question is how (why) he is making films even after not delivering a SINGLE hit in last TWENTY THREE years. https://t.co/ptXqoMppzG

Small men doing big talk is so embarrassing, SRK's worst phase films like Dilwale and Raees have higher footfalls than Akshay's peak phase films like Rustom, TEPK, Good Newwz, Airlift, etc, and in bad phase Akshay is giving 2 cr openings, the difference in levels is crazy. https://t.co/1hiqWYRe8s

SRK's opening day collection is greater than your films entire run, so don't talk nonsense about him https://t.co/ICDegpfIDk

Entire marketing of this film has been about taking digs at other films or stars and getting chappals thrown at their own stars. Happens when last films of both your stars open to 2crs https://t.co/sRB9SQvpsL

SRK ki kharab se kharaab movie ne bhi 20cr ki opening di hai,

Akshay to Bollywood ka Aryabhata hai jo 2cr dhundh ke laya hai

SRK at his worst was giving 10 times more opening than what Seth ji is giving now
