“Main Aapke Liye Suhagrat…”: Salman Khan’s EPIC Reply To Everyone Asking About His Marriage
Salman Khan playfully questioned the public’s obsession with his bachelorhood while voicing his scepticism about the dynamics of modern-day relationships.

At 59, Salman Khan continues to be India's most talked-about bachelor – a title he’s held for decades. During his recent appearance on ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, the superstar was once again teased about his long-standing bachelorhood. Host Kapil Sharma jokingly asked if Salman Khan plans to find a girlfriend now that Aamir Khan is reportedly dating Gauri Spratt. Salman, with his signature wit, replied that he has no such intentions. Archana Puran Singh chimed in with a question about whether Salman ever gets tired of being asked about marriage.
His response drew laughter from the audience. He said, “Main humesha kehta hu ki mere shaadi kar lene mein aapka kya faeda hai? Kya aapko maza aa raha hai ki main aapke liye suhagrat mana raha hu? Mai kya kar raha hu jisme aapko itni khushi horahi hai ki main barbad hojau?”
Salman went on to share more serious thoughts about modern relationships, citing a lack of patience and understanding between couples today. He joked about common reasons for breakups – snoring, sleeping positions – and said that in the event of a divorce, women often take “half” the man's wealth. At his age, he admitted, starting over isn't a viable option.
“Phir divorce toh chalo hogya, woh aadhe paise bhi toh le jaati hai,” he spoke about his fears.
Over the years, Salman Khan has dated stars such as Sangeeta Bijlani, Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif. He came the closest to getting married with Sangeeta Bijlani but reportedly got cold feet as the wedding approached and ended their relationship.
Salman also opened up about his ongoing health challenges during his appearance on the talk show. “Hum ye jo daily ki haddiyan tudwa rahe hain, pasliyan toot gai, trigeminal neuralgia ke sath kaam kar rahe hain, aneurysm hai brain mein uske bawajood kaam kar rahe hain. AV malformation hai, uske bawajood chal rahe hain,” he said.
He emphasized the emotional and financial toll marriage and divorce can take, particularly at his stage of life.
“All of this is going on in my life. Aur jahan unka mood satka, woh aadha humara leke chala gaya. Ye younger age mein hota toh theek tha, phirse kama lete. Ab wapis se,” Salman added.
Salman Khan had previously spoken about trigeminal neuralgia at a Dubai event for his movie ‘Tubelight’ in 2017.
For the unversed, Trigeminal neuralgia causes intense, electric shock-like facial pain, and can be triggered by minor actions like brushing or chewing. A brain aneurysm is a potentially life-threatening bulge in a brain blood vessel, while an AVM disrupts normal blood flow and can lead to bleeding, seizures, or strokes.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in ‘Sikandar’ alongside Rashmika Mandanna. However, the film underperformed at the box office.
