Salman Khan recently met a nine-year-old fan, who won his battle against cancer.

Superstar Salman Khan is known to have a heart of gold, and he has always stepped forward to help people in need. The actor is also known to never break his promises and in the latest Bollywood entertainment news, Salman Khan's latest grand gesture has won over the internet. The actor, who was last seen in 'Tiger 3', alongside Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, recently met his 9-year-old fan named Jaganbir, who beat cancer after nine rounds of chemotherapy. 

As per India Today, the actor had met the little one first time in 2018 when he was just four years old and was undergoing chemotherapy at the Tata Memorial Center in Mumbai for his tumour.

Salman Khan has now met the fan, who won his battle against cancer. As per several reports, the actor had promised Jaganbir to meet him once his battle with cancer concluded.

Sukhbir Kaur, the mother of the nine-year-old, told Indian Express that the paediatric ward officials first heard about his desire to meet Salman Khan, and then the hospital's Paediatric Cancer Care and Treatment (ImPaCCT) Foundation and NGO Anjeze Charitable Trust partnered to reach out to Salman.

“They made a video about Jaganbeer’s wish and sent it to Salman, but we were sceptical. After all, why would he come to meet common people like us,” said Sukhbir.

“He touched the actor’s face and shoulders, but was still unsure. Salman tried to convince him too, but he was still not convinced. Then, Jaganbeer touched the actor’s bracelet, something Salman always wears. He was so excited that he burst into laughter,” she added.

Talking about Salman Khan, the actor is currently hosting 'Bigg Boss 17'. 

Salman will next be seen in 'The Bull', backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and directed by Vishnu Vardhan of 'Shershaah' fame.

His last release 'Tiger 3' minted close to Rs 500 crore at the worldwide box office. The film was released in cinemas on the occasion of Diwali, last year.
