Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba: Netflix Drops First Posters Featuring Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey And Sunny Kaushal
The first look posters of ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’, starring Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal, have been unveiled.
The first look posters of the much-awaited sequel to the 2021 romantic thriller ‘Haseen Dillruba’, titled ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’, are finally out. The film will reunite Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey from the original cast and introduce Sunny Kaushal as a fresh face. The film’s chilling theme is showcased in the posters featuring the lead actors drenched in rain with drops of blood. Taking to Instagram, Taapsee Pannu shared the new posters and wrote, “Khoon ko mitaye ye baarish, yahi hain iss kaatilana ishq ki guzaarish. Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, coming on 9 August, only on Netflix!”
In another Instagram post, she wrote, “Khoon, junoon, aur ek khatarnaak monsoon. Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, coming on 9 August, only on Netflix!”

In one of the posters, Vikrant Massey and Taapsee Pannu are seen under an umbrella, while Sunny Kaushal holds a bouquet of red roses. The second poster shows Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal’s roles switched, adding to the theme of complicated love.
The release date of ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’ was announced on Monday by the lead cast through a series of shayaris.
Taapsee Pannu said, “9 August ko tapkega khoon, aayega katilana monsoon.” Vikrant Massey added, “9 August ki haseen raat dillruba ke saath.” Sunny Kaushal concluded, “9 August ko dil pighlenge, ishq ka zeher niglenge.”
‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’, filled with romance, suspense, and several twists and turns, stars Taapsee Pannu as Rani, Vikrant Massey as Rishu, Sunny Kaushal as Abhimanyu, and Jimmy Sheirgill as Mrityunjay.
Directed by Jayprad Desai and written by Kanika Dhillon, the upcoming Netflix movie is produced by Aanand L. Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar.
As per several reports, ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’ will pick up where ‘Haseen Dillruba’ left off. It will follow Rani Kashyap and Rishabh Saxena as they seek a fresh start in Agra. With authorities on their trail, their journey takes a dramatic turn with the arrival of Sunny Kaushal's character, Abhimanyu. The lovers encounter new enemies including Jimmy Shergill's character who wants to foil their plans of ‘happily ever after’.
Vinil Mathew’s 2021 directorial venture ‘Haseen Dillruba’ was written by Kanika Dhillon. While the film received mixed reviews, ‘Haseen Dilruba’ was one of the most-watched Hindi movies on Netflix when it released in 2021.
