Workouts aren’t always about lifting heavy or clocking reps – sometimes, they’re about lifting your spirits too. And that’s exactly what Indian actress Mrunal Thakur’s latest Instagram video beautifully captured. Turning what could’ve been a tiring Pilates session into a full-blown happy dance, Mrunal Thakur and celebrity fitness trainer Namrata Purohit gave their followers a much-needed dose of endorphins and smiles.
Mrunal Thakur captioned the reel, “Happy dancing with @namratapurohit because she makes it all worth it,” summarising the mood perfectly.

In the now-viral video, Mrunal Thakur can be seen at Namrata’s Pilates studio, dressed in sleek black active wear. Namrata, too, sported athleisure and can be seen trying to motivate the actress to power through a workout.
Mrunal Thakur, visibly tired, playfully shook her head in mock refusal as if saying, “I can’t do this anymore.” The video, set to the upbeat Indonesian track ‘Culik Aku Dong’ by Silvy Kumalasari, took a delightful turn just as Mrunal sluggishly got up from the reformer.
What started as a moment of fatigue quickly transformed into a burst of energy – the two suddenly broke into an impromptu dance right there, grooving joyfully to the catchy beats.
The video has since gone viral, amassing over 270K likes and thousands of comments within a day of posting. One user wrote, “M, You don't want to miss the popular songs, M. Finally, we heard this song on your reels.”
Another one added, “This is the most beautiful & meaningful video of the day, carrying the powerful message that life is a balance between tough moments & happy moments. Thank you M for sharing.”
A third one said, “Mam you are looking gorgeous.”
The message in the video – displayed through an on-screen quote that read, “When you're fighting for your life but you know it's going to be worth it in the end” – added a relatable and motivational touch for anyone who has struggled with fitness or staying committed to their health goals.
Mrunal’s reel is a reminder that workouts don’t always have to be serious – sometimes, a little dance and laughter can be the best part of your fitness journey.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Mrunal Thakur was last seen in a cameo appearance in Nag Ashwin’s 2024 film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani.
Mrunal Thakur became a household name after starring in the TV show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’. Her recent releases include ‘The Family Star’, ‘Pippa’ and ‘Hi Nana’.
Up next, she will be seen alongside Ajay Devgn in ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ and in ‘Dacoit: A Love Story’ with Adivi Sesh.
