Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal To Kiara Advani-Sidharth Malhotra, How B-Town Stars Celebrated Karwa Chauth 2023
Karwa Chauth 2023: From Katrina Kaif to Kiara Advani and Parineeti Chopra, here’s a glimpse of how Bollywood celebrities celebrated the festival.

Karwa Chauth is celebrated with great pomp and fervour amongst Hindu families. The festival, which is also referred to as Karak Chaturthi, takes place on Krishna Paksha Chaturthi in Kartik month. Many married women display their affection for their husbands by observing a strict fast, during which they abstain from food and water throughout the day, in addition to praying for their significant other's long life and good health. Women usually have their 'sargi' before sunrise and don't eat or drink anything until moonrise.
Bollywood celebrities, who love going big on festivals, celebrate each occasion with equal enthusiasm. Like every year, this year also, the festival was elaborately celebrated by B-town celebrities.
Several Bollywood celebrities, who partook in the festivities, shared glimpses into their Karwa Chauth celebrations on their Instagram profiles.
Katrina Kaif posted a collection of photos from her celebration, which included her husband Vicky Kaushal and her in-laws. She looked absolutely gorgeous in a red saree with golden zari work throughout. Vicky Kaushal wore a simple white kurta-pyjama with silver embroidery.
Parineeti Chopra, who recently got married to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha, celebrated her first Karwa Chauth. She shared a series of photos on her Instagram account and captioned her post, "Happy first Karwa Chauth my love." She looked like a vision in a striking red suit set. One of the photos also showed Raghav Chadha, who wore a yellow kurta with white pyjama, applying mehendi on his ladylove’s hand.
Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra, who got married earlier this year, also celebrated their first Karwa Chauth together. Sharing a lovey dovey moment with Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani wrote, "To the moon and back." The Shershaah actor reacted to the post and wrote, "Blessed." Kiara looked lovely in her pink salwar-suit, while the Shershaah actor opted for a red kurta.
Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal also celebrated the festival as they shared sweet photos of them posing together in traditional looks. "Happy karvachauth to everyone out there celebrating. Wishing safety and peace to all. Bharatya naari sab be bhaari though natasha is really light so love making her sit on my lap," he wrote.
Shilpa Shetty, who celebrated Karwa Chauth 2023, shared a picture gazing at husband Raj Kundra and wrote, "Chand mera dil Only Mine @onlyrajkundra." The eternal Bollywood diva looked breathtaking in a pink saree, while Raj Kundra wore an off-white outfit.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who was in Mumbai, also participated in the puja while missing husband Nick Jonas. She shared a photo of the decorated sieve with a diya. “Happy Karwa Chauth to everyone celebrating,” she wrote, adding a heart emoji and tagging Nick Jonas.
