The first leaked video showcased Kartik Aaryan and co-star Sreeleela onstage, both holding guitars. It was previously revealed that Kartik’s character is a singer, but the new footage confirmed that Sreeleela is also part of his band.
The video brought back memories of Ranbir Kapoor’s rock star persona from the 2011 film ‘Rockstar’. In the clip, Kartik is seen lip-syncing to a revamped version of ‘Tu Meri Zindagi Hai’ from the original ‘Aashiqui’ (1990).
However, it was the second leaked video that truly caused a frenzy online. In the shocking footage, Kartik is seen losing his cool during a stage performance. He repeatedly strikes a man with his guitar, kicks him off the stage, and then jumps down himself. The intensity of the scene left fans both surprised and intrigued.

However, in an earlier interaction, Anurag Basu clarified that the film will not be titled ‘Aashiqui 3’.
