In the videos shared online, Malaika was seen dressed in a muted beige outfit, standing behind a glass door and speaking with family members. She was also captured in the backseat of a car alongside Amrita’s son, attempting to shield her face from photographers.

Kareena, too, was seen avoiding the cameras as she departed, covering her face with her hand. Both she and Saif appeared visibly sombre during their visit.

Karisma has not yet issued a public statement on Sunjay Kapur’s death.

According to a report by India Today, Sunjay Kapur died of a heart attack while playing polo in England. He was 53.

The news was confirmed by Suhel Seth, who posted on X (formerly Twitter), “Deeply saddened at the passing of @sunjaykapur: he passed away earlier today in England: a terrible loss and deepest condolences to his family and to his colleagues @sonacomstar…Om Shanti.”

For the unversed, Sunjay and Karisma Kapoor married in 2003. Though they initially sought divorce in 2005, the Delhi High Court encouraged them to consider reconciliation. Eventually, Karisma moved back to Mumbai in 2010, around the time her younger son Kiaan was born. In 2014, the couple formally decided to separate, and their divorce was finalized in June 2016.

Following the divorce, Sunjay married Priya Sachdev, with whom he shares a son.

Hours after the news of Sunjay Kapur’s death broke, a post where he had reflected that his "time on Earth is limited" went viral. The post left many social media users contemplating the unpredictability of life.

On June 9, Sunjay took to X to share a post with hashtag # MondayMotivation. He shared a note which read, “Your time on Earth is limited. Leave the 'what ifs’ to the philosophers and instead dive headfirst into the 'why nots’."

The family is yet to issue an official statement on his death.
