Truly Huge Film": Kajol Celebrates 22 Years Of 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'
'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' is celebrating its 22nd anniversary and to mark the occasion, Kajol shared some behind-the-scenes stories from the making of the film.
'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' was Karan Johar's second directorial and the movie, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, and Kareena Kapoor, is still viewed as one of the best family dramas to come out of Bollywood. In the latest entertainment news, the film is celebrating its 22nd anniversary and to mark the occasion, Kajol shared some behind-the-scenes stories from the making of the film.
For the unversed, 'K3G' was Karan Johar's second directorial after the blockbuster 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', starring SRK, Kajol and Rani Mukerji.
Kajol took to Instagram to post a reel, featuring some stills from the film. In the caption, Kajol shared some stories from the film.
“22 years to #k3g .. Another acronym but yes another long lasting memory!!! Yash uncle actually renovated and made new makeup rooms in Filmistan studios permanently just for the shooting of this film because even with the vanity vans it was not going to be enough for this gigantic starrer," Kajol wrote.
“@karanjohar collapsed and fainted on set because of dehydration in the first few days .. it was really really hot! And this was @_aryan_ ‘s debut on screen.. ! It was also I think my first comeback (not sure about this part tho) too many comebacks ago) And the first and only time I stood in front of the pyramids and truly felt them with my soul.. so yes this was a truly HUGE film in every which way, in life and cinema!” Kajol’s note read.

Karan Johar also celebrated the 22nd anniversary of 'K3G', and he shared the emotional reunion scene featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan.

For the unversed, 'K3G' released in theatres in 2001 and it was among the biggest hits of the year.
The film has somehow managed to stay relevant and Kareena Kapoor's character 'Poo' is still a fan favourite.
