Shah Rukh Khan is back on the silver screen with his second film of 2023, ‘Jawan’, after delivering the blockbuster hit ‘Pathaan’ earlier this year.

‘Jawan’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, released in theatres worldwide on Thursday. This is SRK’s second film of 2023 after he delivered the blockbuster hit ‘Pathaan’ earlier this year, which went on to become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. The movie’s songs including ‘Besharam Rang’ and ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ were a rage on social media, and Salman Khan’s cameo appearance in ‘Pathaan’ was definitely the cherry on the cake. So, naturally the excitement and hype around ‘Jawan’ are at an all-time high.
After the bumper advance booking for ‘Jawan’, the fan frenzy around the movie hit new highs as fans danced in theatres to SRK’s song ‘Zinda Banda’.
Faridoon Shahryar took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and posted a video showing several fans of SRK dancing to his song as it played in a theatre.

In the video, the audience can be seen dancing and hooting as 'Zinda Banda' plays on the big screen. They also celebrated by throwing confetti.

‘Jawan’, directed by Atlee, also features Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu, and Ridhi Dogra, among others. The new movie, produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under Red Chillies Entertainment, also stars Deepika Padukone in a cameo appearance.
Ahead of the film’s release, SRK had offered prayers at the Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Tirupati. The Bollywood actor was dressed in his ethnic best as he was clicked at the temple.
Shah Rukh Khan was accompanied by daughter Suhana and his manager Pooja Dadlani. Both SRK and Suhana were dressed in white outfits. SRK’s ‘Jawan’ co-star Nayanthara, along with her husband Vignesh Shivan was also clicked at the temple.
Last month, SRK was spotted visiting Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu and Kashmir amid tight security ahead of the ‘Jawan' audio launch in Chennai. However, this was not his first visit to the temple. Previously, he had offered prayers at Vaishno Devi temple before the release of ‘Pathaan’ in January 2023.
