Janhvi Kapoor Hospitalised Due To "Severe Food Poisoning": Report
As per a report, Janhvi Kapoor has been hospitalised due to "severe food poisoning".
Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, who was last seen alongside Rajkummar Rao in 'Mr & Mrs Mahi', has been hospitalised in Mumbai. As per a report in NDTV, Janhvi Kapoor is suffering from a “severe case of food poisoning", and the development has been confirmed by her father Boney Kapoor, the same report states. As per NDTV, Janhvi Kapoor is feeling a lot better now, and she will be discharged from the hospital in the coming days. Speaking of Janhvi Kapoor, she had recently attended the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai, and she had also attended the trailer preview event of her upcoming film 'Ulajh'.
Speaking of 'Ulajh', the trailer for the film was unveiled recently. The new Hindi film, which is slated to release in cinemas on August 2, 2024, also stars Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang and Adil Hussain.
The script has been co-written by Sudhanshu and Parveez Shaikh, while Atika Chauhan has penned the dialogues. ‘Ulajh’ is backed by the makers of Raazi, Badhaai Do and Talvar, while it is directed by National Award-winning director Sudhanshu Saria.
Earlier, while speaking about the film, Janhvi Kapoor in a statement said, "When I was approached with the script of Ulajh, it instantly attracted me because as an actor, I am constantly looking for scripts that make me break out of my comfort zone and portraying a character based in the celebrated world of the Indian Foreign Services was just that."
"Just as the name of the film suggests, my character and the story, have so many layers, emotions, and parameters, which are challenging and exciting at the same time. I am thrilled for the audience to see me in this new role envisioned by Sudhanshu, who has such a fresh approach towards dealing with this genre. I am also looking forward to work with such talented co-actors and a development studio like Junglee Pictures for the first time," she added.
