The Bengaluru-based franchise crashed out of the ongoing IPL 2023 after failing to win their last group-stage match against Gujarat Titans on Sunday at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Virat Kohli's unbeaten knock of 101 runs off just 61 balls went in vain as Shubman Gill guided Gujarat Titans to a massive win.
However, before the loss, Virat Kohli unleashed his inner beast to come up with a memorable batting performance.
Virat Kohli played the role of a lone ranger as wickets kept falling around him. The right-handed batter's innings was studded with 13 fours and a six and he played at a strike-rate of 165.57.
As Kohli brought up his century, his RCB teammates gave him a standing ovation. Anushka Sharma, who was in the stands, stood up and blew kisses at her husband.

Talking about the match, Virat Kohli was seen getting teary-eyed after RCB crashed out of the tournament.
Virat Kohli even threw a water bottle in disgust and kicked the turf after Shubman Gill hit the match-winning six for Gujarat Titans.
Gujarat Titans will now take on Chennai Super Kings in Qualifier 1 on Tuesday, while Lucknow Super Giants will face Mumbai Indians in the Eliminator on Wednesday.
Talking about Anushka Sharma, the actress will soon be leaving for Cannes to make her debut appearance at the Cannes Film Festival.
