IPL 2023, GT vs CSK: Vicky Kaushal was seen singing ‘Vande Mataram’ along with the rest of the crowd during the summit clash.
The IPL 2023 final between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans turned out to be a match of epic proportions and it was Ravindra Jadeja, who hit 10 runs off the final two balls to help MS Dhoni and co lift their fifth IPL title. 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke' couple Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan were also in attendance for the summit clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. During the IPL 2023 finale, the DJ inside the stadium decided to play 'Vande Mataram' and Vicky Kaushal could not help himself from singing it as well.

Talking about the final, rain played spoilsport after Gujarat Titans posted 214/4 in 20 overs.
The match was eventually curtailed and CSK were asked to chase down 171 in 15 overs. The equation came down to 10 off 2 balls, and it was then that Jadeja hit a 6 and a 4 to help CSK win the title.
After the winning shot, MS Dhoni expressed his emotions and he ended up lifting Jadeja.
As CSK won the match, Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan were seen celebrating like kids.

At the post match presentation, MS Dhoni was asked whether he will play IPL next year or not, and to this, he said: "This is the best time to announce my retirement. But the amount of love and affection I have been shown wherever I have been this year, the easy thing would be for me to say "Thank you very much", but the tough thing for me is to work hard for another 9 months and come back and play at least 1 more season of IPL."
CSK have now won the IPL five times-- in 2010, 2011, 2018, 2021, and 2023.
