“To Our Hero”: Mom-To-Be Deepika Padukone AKA “Lady Singham” Gets Sweet Surprise
Deepika Padukone, who will soon be seen as Shakti Shetty aka “Lady Singham”, received a sweet surprise, a photo of which she shared on Instagram.
Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who was last seen alongside Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor in the 2024 Hindi movie ‘Fighter’, is currently working on Rohit Shetty’s upcoming directorial venture ‘Singham Again’. A few weeks ago, she was spotted on the sets of the film shooting with Rohit Shetty and several others. In the pictures, Deepika Padukone was seen in a police uniform with her hair tied in a bun. Later, the Bollywood actress also shared a picture of herself as “Lady Singham” Shakti Shetty from the upcoming film.
Now, Deepika Padukone, who is expecting her first child with actor-husband Ranveer Singh, took to Instagram and shared a glimpse of a flowery surprise she received. In the post, the Bollywood actress shared a close-up picture of a vibrant bouquet comprising colourful pink, red, and white flowers.
The picture also featured a handwritten note that read, “To our hero, Lady Singham.” However, Deepika Padukone didn’t add any caption alongside the post, leaving the identity of the sender hidden.
We wonder if team ‘Singham Again’ is behind this sweet gesture... or is it Ranveer Singh, or fans?

Soon after Deepika Padukone shared the post on Instagram, several social media users reacted to it.

Reportedly, Deepika Padukone has a prominent role in the upcoming movie ‘Singham Again’. Back in 2023, Rohit Shetty said that ‘Singham Again’ would feature Deepika as one of the heroes.
He said, “She is like one of the heroes, and what we are doing with it is that we will go with her story. We will make a film that has only Deepika. It is her story. Like Sooryavanshi, Singham, and Simmba, the films had already been made and people knew about them, but with Singham again, we are introducing these characters, and then we will tell their stories.”
The upcoming film was announced by Rohit Shetty on the first day of Navratri in October last year. Apart from Deepika Padukone, ‘Singham Again’ will feature Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film is expected to release in the theatres on August 15, 2024.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is expecting her first child with Ranveer Singh. The two announced their pregnancy in February 2024 on social media. Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in November 2018 after dating each other for several years.
Apart from ‘Singham Again’, Deepika Padukone will soon be seen alongside Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.
