Actor Babil Khan, son of late iconic actor Irrfan Khan, is internet's darling. Netizens have always labelled him as “down-to-earth” and “humble” because of his kind gestures and the way he treats people. He has often been papped in the city, and his interactions with the paparazzi always melt hearts online. Now, another gesture of the ‘Qala’ actor is going viral on social media, and it has left fans impressed. The young actor was recently spotted, making a donation of Rs 50,000 to a YouTuber, Prem Kumar.

In the video shared by Viral Bhayani on Instagram, Babil Khan can be seen transferring the amount to the YouTuber, who is tackling water crisis in Jawhar taluka in Palghar district, which is just 100 kms from Mumbai.

“Mera naam likhne ki jarurat nahi hai, tu acha kaam kar raha hai,” Babil Khan told the YouTuber, while transferring the money.

The YouTuber, who goes by the name YouNick Viral Vlogs, commented on the video shared by Viral Bhayani. He said, “Dear Babil Khan, I can’t thank you enough for your incredible support. Your generosity means the world to me and the people of Mumbai Village. Your donation of 50k rupees will go a long way in helping us tackle the water issues here. Your kindness is making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most. Thank you for being a shining example of compassion and empathy. Your support gives us hope for a better tomorrow.”

Earlier, on the fourth death anniversary of Irrfan Khan, Babil Khan had shared how his father taught him to be a warrior but engage with love and kindness.

Sharing pictures of Irrfan Khan on Instagram, Babil Khan wrote, “You taught me to be a warrior, but engage with love and kindness. You taught me of hope and you taught me to fight for the people. You do not have fans, you have a family, and I promise you baba I will fight for our people and our family till you call upon me. I will not give up. I love you so much.”

For the unversed, Irrfan Khan died in Mumbai on April 29, 2020. He is survived by wife Sutapa Sikdar and sons Babil and Ayan.

Speaking about Babil Khan, he made his acting debut with the film ‘Qala’ (2022), co-starring Triptii Dimri, Swastika Mukherjee and Varun Grover. The movie, directed by Anvita Dutt, was released on Netflix.

Babil Khan was last seen in the web series ‘The Railway Men’, alongside Kay Kay Menon, R Madhavan and Divyendu.
