Shanaya Kapoor Reveals How Aryan Khan Pushed Her And Suhana Khan Down The Stairs
Shanaya Kapoor recalled a painful childhood prank where Aryan Khan “rolled” her and Suhana Khan down the stairs.
Bollywood actress Shanaya Kapoor, who can currently be seen in ‘Tu Yaa Main’, recently opened up about a wild and painful childhood memory involving her close friends Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan, children of superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Recalling the incident, Shanaya revealed that Aryan once “rolled” her and Suhana down a flight of stairs while they were wrapped inside a blanket – an adventure that did not end the way they had imagined.

Shanaya shared the story during her appearance on the YouTube show Rewind with Nayandeep Rakshit. In the candid conversation, she looked back at a time when Aryan Khan, who she described as constantly teasing the younger girls, convinced her and Suhana to take part in what he claimed would be the “best roller coaster” of their lives.
The moment resurfaced when Shanaya Kapoor received a heartfelt voice note from Suhana on the show. In the audio message, Suhana said she felt shy sending it but expressed how proud she was of Shanaya and how excited she was to watch her in ‘Tu Yaa Main’. She praised Shanaya’s hard work and said everyone could already see how amazing she is. Suhana then jokingly referenced their infamous childhood stunt, saying she still couldn’t believe they were the same girls who once rolled down a steep staircase wrapped in nothing but a blanket because “someone thought it was a brilliant idea, which it obviously wasn’t”.

Prompted to elaborate, Shanaya described the incident in detail. She said Aryan had pitched the idea as a thrilling roller coaster he had “designed”. He instructed them to wear a helmet, zip themselves inside a blanket, and promised that a single push down the stairs would feel like flying on a magic carpet. Trusting him completely, Shanaya and Suhana believed they were about to experience the ride of their lives – no theme park required. However, the plan quickly backfired. The tumble turned out to be extremely painful, though fortunately neither of them suffered serious injuries.
Shanaya added that Suhana, Aryan, Navya Naveli Nanda, and Ananya Panday are like family to her, highlighting the close bond they share.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Shanaya Kapoor was recently seen in ‘Tu Yaa Main’ alongside Adarsh Gourav. Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, the survival thriller released on February 13 and is produced by Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, and Vinod Bhanushali.
In the film, Shanaya plays social media influencer Avani, also known as Miss Vanity, while Adarsh essays Maruti aka Aala Flowpara. The story follows two influencers whose romantic getaway spirals into a nightmare when they find themselves trapped in a swimming pool with a crocodile.
