Arjun Kapoor was left speechless after a person screamed Malaika Arora’s name during ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ promotions.
Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor, who earned immense praise for his performance in Rohit Shetty’s 2024 movie ‘Singham Again’, is currently busy promoting his upcoming Hindi movie ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’. The upcoming movie also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles. In a recent event, the trio were seen interacting with fans in order to create maximum buzz for the film. It was then that a person screamed Malaika Arora’s name in front of Arjun Kapoor and the rest of the cast, leaving him short of words.
For the unversed, Malaika Arora is Arjun Kapoor's ex-girlfriend. The duo dated for several years, before parting ways in 2024.
In a video that is going viral on social media, Arjun Kapoor was seen standing on the stage as Bhumi and Rakul answered fans’ questions. A person asked Bhumi about why she loves this movie. As soon as she was about to answer, another person screamed Malaika Arora’s loudly.
Arjun Kapoor was then seen shaking his head but he did not say anything. Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh also looked at him at the spur of the moment but did not comment.

Soon after the video surfaced online, several social media users reacted to it. One user wrote, “SO NICE OF HIM TO NOT GET ANGRY.”
Another one said, “I dont blame him. Mallika what made him popular.”
A third user commented, “Hoye ....ex ka naam le liya aapane sabke samne chehra dekhne layak tha.”
Earlier, a similar incident had taken place during the Diwali event hosted by politician Raj Thackeray last year.
When a person from the crowd screamed Malaika Arora's name repeatedly, Arjun Kapoor replied, “Nahi abhi single hoon. Relax karo.”
Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor started dating in 2018. The duo often spoke candidly about their relationship and were spotted going on vacations together and attending parties.
The duo parted ways in 2024. However, Arjun Kapoor visited Malaika Arora after her father Anil Mehta allegedly committed suicide.
Malaika Arora was previously married to Arbaaz Khan. The duo has been co-parenting their son Arhaan since their divorce.
Coming back to ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’, the film has been directed by Mudassar Aziz. The film also stars Dino Morea, Harsh Gujral, and Shakti Kapoor in supporting roles.
