Aamir Khan has dropped a bombshell update regarding 'Andaz Apna Apna 2'.

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan recently celebrated his 59th birthday. In the latest entertainment news, the 'Dangal' star has sent the internet into a tizzy after he shared a bombshell update regarding 'Andaz Apna Apna 2'. Aamir Khan has confirmed that director Rajkumar Santoshi has started working on the script of the sequel for the cult classic that released in 1994.
"Mujhe fresh pata chala hai ki Rajkumar Santoshi is working on the script of 'Andaz Apna Apna'. To ye news kaafi garam garam aayi hai. Matlab usne shuru kiya hai, jyada excitement bhi hum log nahi dikha sakte," said Aamir Khan during an Instagram Live session.
"Kyunki usne abhi kaam shuru kiya, but I am glad he has started to think about it because it will be a great film for all of us to do and for audiences to watch," he added.

For the unversed, 'Andaz Apna Apna' released in 1994 and the film's star cast included Aamir, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, Karisma Kapoor, Paresh Rawal (double role) and Shakti Kapoor.
The movie tanked at the box office upon its release, but over the years, the film has become a cult classic, and it is viewed as one of the most celebrated comedies from the Indian film history.
Speaking of Aamir Khan, he will next be seen in 'Sitaare Zameen Par. He has already confirmed that the film will be releasing in cinemas on Christmas 2024.
If the film releases on Christmas, then it would be Aamir Khan's first Christmas release in eight years.
During an Instagram Live session, Aamir Khan said that the movie is on the "next level" of his 2008-film 'Taare Zameen Par'.
"It will make you laugh, it will entertain you," said Aamir Khan before confirming that the film is "not a sequel."
Aamir Khan's latest production venture 'Laapataa Ladies', which has been directed by Kiran Rao, is still running in theatres.
