PAGAL DIL DIWANA is a Hindi dubbed of film Priyamaina Neeku (transl. To You, My Dear) which is a highly successful 2001 Indian Telugu-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Balasekaran. Released on 11 February 2001, the film was produced by R. B. Choudary under the banner Super Good Films. It became a major box office success and was later reshot and released in Tamil as Kadhal Sugamanathu (2002).

Synopsis:
The story revolves around Ganesh, a carefree college youth. He finds a hidden red diary in his father's auction shop, which belongs to a girl named Sandhya. Reading through the entries, Ganesh discovers that Sandhya has been secretly in love with him after hearing him play the guitar, though she was always too shy to confess. Deeply moved by her words, Ganesh falls in love with her and goes on a mission to find her.
Meanwhile, Sandhya’s younger sister, Sirisha, out of jealousy, creates misunderstandings and plays a double game to win Ganesh over for herself. Unaware of this, Sandhya's family relocates to Vizag, where her marriage gets fixed to a rich, good-hearted man named Raghu. Ironically, Raghu happens to be a close friend of Ganesh. When Ganesh travels to Vizag and stays at Raghu's house, he discovers that his dream girl is actually the one marrying his best friend. The rest of the movie forms a tense, emotional climax about whether the true lovers eventually unite.
