Synopsis
Sasirekha is the sheltered daughter of a very wealthy and strict, disciplinarian father who completely opposes the idea of love marriages. She crosses paths with Ravi, a hard-working orphan, who falls deeply in love with her. Over time, Sasirekha begins to reciprocate his feelings.

Determined to formally ask for her hand in marriage, Ravi goes to meet Sasirekha's father. However, the meeting quickly escalates into a heated confrontation, and her father is accidentally killed during the physical scuffle. When Sasirekha discovers that Ravi is responsible for her father's death, she is heartbroken and breaks all ties with him. Devastated by her rejection and guilt, Ravi attempts suicide by jumping from a hill but survives, leaving him severely disabled and in a vegetative state. In the emotional climax, a guilt-ridden Sasirekha chooses to return to Ravi to care for him for the rest of his life, realizing his actions were driven only by pure, unyielding love.
