Plot Summary
The story revolves around two childhood friends, Inspector Dev (Rishi Kapoor) and Gaurav, fondly called "Guru" (Anil Kapoor). Dev's father, Parshuram (Pran), works with the underworld and is the right-hand man of Khakan (Danny Denzongpa), who is Guru's father. Their friendship is tested when Dev, as a police inspector, is assigned the case of apprehending Khakan and must choose between his duty and his friendship. Sridevi plays a memorable double role in the film.
