Synopsis
Set in the fictional coastal village of Dakshina Kannada (Tulu Nadu), the story centers on the deep-rooted conflict between man and nature, tradition and greed. A local tribal community lives under the divine protection of local forest spirits (Daivas and Bhoota Kola), having handed over land to a royal family generations ago with a sacred promise. Years later, a greedy feudal successor tries to claim the forest land, clashing with a rebellious local youth named Shiva—who initially stays away from ancestral traditions due to a childhood trauma—and a strict upright forest officer. As greed leads to murder and betrayal, Shiva must reluctantly embrace his ancestral heritage and the divine power of the Daiva to restore balance and justice.
