Synopsis
Anand and Devki are a happily married couple with a young child. Believing Devki to be dead after a tragic turn of events, a grieving Anand allows another woman, Yashoda—who has lost her own baby—to nurse and raise his infant son. Complications arise when Devki turns out to be alive and returns, wanting her child back at any cost, leading to a deeply emotional conflict between the two women over the right of motherhood.
