SYNOPSIS

15th August (1993) is a Hindi-language action-drama film directed by Vicky Ranavat, centered on a revenge plot against a corrupt system. It stars Ronit Roy as Vikram, a man who vows to destroy the corrupt politician who murdered his family, including his military officer brother, with the climax set on Independence Day. 

Synopsis:
The film follows Vikram (Ronit Roy), whose life falls apart when his father and his military officer brother, Ramu (Shakti Kapoor), are killed by the corrupt and powerful villain, Nagpal, who is in league with police officials. Following the brutal murder of his family and the rape of his sister, Vikram pledges to take revenge. The narrative climaxes with Vikram vowing to stop Nagpal from taking the oath as Chief Minister on the 15th of August.
