SYNOPSIS

Released on February 20, 1981, Barsaat Ki Ek Raat is an action thriller directed by Shakti Samanta. It stars Amitabh Bachchan as an honest police officer who fights a local corrupt merchant and deals with dark family secrets in a rainy hill village.

Synopsis
Inspector Abhijeet moves to a village in Darjeeling to clean up crime. He clashes with a cruel local merchant named Kaliram. Abhijeet falls in love with and marries Rajni, the daughter of a local man. Their lives grow tense when past secrets emerge, testing their trust during a stormy night.
