SYNOPSIS

Vidya (also spelled Vidhya) is a highly popular social-drama Bhojpuri movie starring superstar Aamrapali Dubey in the titular role. The film released to massive success, garnering tens of millions of views across digital platforms.

Synopsis
The story revolves around Vidya (played by Aamrapali Dubey), a bright and ambitious girl born to a poor rickshaw puller. Despite financial hardships, her parents support her education. When her marriage is arranged, the groom's family demands an exorbitant dowry, which her parents cannot afford. Consequently, the groom's wedding procession (Baarat) leaves without performing the wedding. 

Refusing to break down, Vidya uses this humiliation as fuel to change her destiny. Through rigorous hard work and determination, she clears the civil services exams to become an IAS officer. As an administrator, she launches a strict crusade against the illegal dowry system and brings pride to her parents.
