Synopsis
The narrative centers on a hardworking couple who make immense sacrifices to raise and educate their son into a successful engineer, hoping he will support them in their old age. However, blinded by status, material wealth, and the glamour of high society after marrying into a wealthy family, the son relocates and becomes a ghar jamai (living at his wife's opulent house). He slowly becomes alienated from and forgets his own struggling parents and sister back in the village. The emotional plot tracks the deep heartbreak of the abandoned parents, the social commentary on modern family structures, and whether the son eventually realizes his grave mistakes.
