“There Is No Fear”: ‘Bigg Boss 17’ Contestant Vicky Jain Says Trolling Made Him And Ankita Lokhande Stronger
‘Bigg Boss 17’ contestant Vicky Jain recently opened up about participating in the Salman Khan-hosted show with his wife-actress Ankita Lokhande.
Indian TV actress Ankita Lokhande and her husband, businessman Vicky Jain, have been making headlines ever since the duo entered the controversial reality show ‘Bigg Boss 17’, hosted by Salman Khan. For the unversed, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain tied the knot in a dreamy ceremony in December 2021. The duo enjoys a massive fanbase courtesy of their adorable chemistry. However, in the day and age of social media, they also get heavily trolled. Now, Vicky Jain has opened up about being a part of ‘Bigg Boss 17’ with Ankita Lokhande.
While Ankita Lokhande has been keeping her cards close to her chest, Vicky Jain has gone all out to show his fun side, even indulging in pranks with other contestants.
Before entering the show, Vicky Jain spoke to The Indian Express, sharing how he convinced Ankita Lokhande to participate in ‘Bigg Boss’, something that she has been putting off for several years.
The businessman said, “We both are also fans of the show and watch it religiously. I told her that rather than sitting at home and getting invested in what’s happening in the house, we should be there. It was time for us to be here and play the game inside. Us being on the show is purely out of our love for Bigg Boss.”
Vicky Jain further said that he and Ankita Lokhande want to stay in the game till the end and also hopes that Salman Khan will declare either of them the winner. The entrepreneur also mentioned that though he and Ankita would be playing an “individual game”, they would definitely fight back if someone attacked their marital status.
He said, “Honestly, that’s our desire but we haven’t really given it much of a thought. We want to take each day as it comes. But yes, we want to be the ones switching off the lights on the final days.”
It’s been two years since Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain got married. On being asked if there are any fears of putting their relationship on a public platform, he replied, “Our relationship has always been in the public eye. Especially when you are involved in the entertainment industry, everything is out in the open. Ankita has always been an open book and fans know everything about us. So, there is no fear.”
He added, “As for our marital bond, I think we want to move ahead organically. Yes, the camera would be on us 24X7 but we cannot be worrying about that right now. All I can say is that whatever happens, we will never let the passion of the game die.”
Ever since fans got to know about Ankita Lokhande dating Vicky Jain, the couple faced massive trolling for various reasons.
Sharing that the past incidents and trolling have made them stronger, Vicky Jain added that they have already crossed all the challenges that life threw upon them.
“Also, what has happened is way in the past. I think people have also gotten bored of it. But even if we come to face any new challenge, we will face it head-on.” Vicky Jain said.
He also shared that they have been warned by friends and loved ones to not fight. The entrepreneur stated that they have been told to be real, as that can only take them ahead in the game.
Referring to the theme of this season, Vicky Jain concluded that while he is a “dil” person, he knows that when “dimag” is also used, that makes you “dumdaar”.
Talking about 'Bigg Boss 17' nominations for the first week, actress Mannara Chopra, Navid Sole and Abhishek Kumar are in the danger zone. 'Bigg Boss 17' premiered on October 15, and it airs from Monday to Friday at 10 PM. The show can be watched on Colors TV and JioCinema.
